Rollingwood Swim Club

The Seals swim in Division 3 of the Central Maryland Swim League (CMSL).  The program provides a fun and competitive atmosphere for swimmers of all ability and runs from the beginning of June through the end of July with daily practices on Monday through Friday and five dual meets scheduled on Saturdays throughout the season.  Swim Team registration is open to kids of all ages as long as they are active members.  The main qualification for our younger swimmers is that they are able to swim one lap of the pool (25 meters) unassisted.

Seals Handbook

The Seals Handbook provides an overview of summer swimming at Rollingwood and the CMSL.  The handbook provides an overview of various swim meets, volunteer jobs, meet order of events, and how swim meets are conducted.

Team Suits

The 2020/2021 team suit is Coded Riff from Speedo (style and prices listed below).  Suits are available from Cy's Swim Shop (719 Frederick Road in Catonsville, 410-747-8760) and are available now.  If you need to purchase additional swim gear, please stop by Cy's and tell them you are a Rollingwood Swim Team member and receive a 10% discount.

Other Team Apparel/Items

Seals apparel is ordered at the beginning of the season for delivery prior to the first meet.  We will post ordering dates and forms once we have more information regarding the 2020 season.  Latex swim caps are provided to each swimmer at the beginning of the season.  Silicone swim caps are available for purchase for $10 from the Team Rep.

Practice Schedule

Rollingwood provides both morning and evening swim practices.  Please note that evening practices during the regular season are intended for those families that cannot attend the morning sessions and as lanes will be limited.  We ask that you please attend the morning practices if you are able.

PreSeason Practice Schedule (Dates TBA)

Preseason practices are held Mon, Tues, and Thurs at the times below and run through the preseason.

     Ages 8&U: 5:45 pm - 6:15 pm

     Ages 9-10: 6:15 pm - 6:45 pm

     Ages 11/12: 6:45 pm - 7:15 pm

     Ages 13+: 7:15 pm - 7:45 pm

Regular Season Practice Schedule (Dates TBA)

Regularly scheduled practices commence when the pool opens for the regular season and run through the end of the CMSL season.  Morning and evening practices schedules will be observed in accordance with the following schedule.

Daily practices will be held daily Monday through Friday as follows:

     Ages 8&U: 9:45 am - 10:25 am

     Ages 9-10 & 11-12: 9:00 am - 9:45 am

     Ages 13+: 8:00 am - 9:00 am

 

Evening practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, utilizing two lanes of the pool.  Practice times are as follows:

     Ages 8&U: 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm

     Ages 9-10 & 11-12: 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

     Ages 13+: 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm
