Swim Team (2010)
The Seals swim in Division I of the Central Maryland Swim League (CMSL) and the program provides a fun and competitive atmosphere for swimmers of all ability. The program runs from the beginning of June through the end of July with daily practices on Monday through Friday and five dual meets scheduled on Saturdays throughout the season. Swim Team registration is open to kids of all ages as long as they are active members. The main qualification for our younger swimmers is that they are able to swim one lap of the pool (25 meters) unassisted.
Seals Finish Out Season with a Hot One at Forest Hills Congratulations to all of the Seals and parents that suffered out the heat at Forest Hills for the last Dual Meet of the season. The Seals had some great swims and plenty of top times.

Inclement Weather Policy The Seals will practice rain or shine as long as the pool remains open. If the pool is closed for weather, practice will not be held.
Team Suits 2010 team suits will be available through Cy's Swim Shop (on Frederick Rd in Catonsville). This will be the first year of a two year suit and the style (Tyr Shockwave) and prices are shown below. Cy's will be at Rollingwood on Monday, May 31st from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for suit fittings/purchase or you may drop by their store in Catonsville at any time. If you need to purchase other swim gear, please stop by Cy's and tell them you are a Rollingwood Swim Team member and receive a 10% discount.
Other Team Gear Coach Courtney is going to whip up another batch of "We Put the Fun un Division I" tee shirts for 2010. Stay tuned for details. Latex swim caps are provided to each swimmer by the team and Silicone swim caps are available for $10.00 anytime from Bill Protzman.

Rollingwood provides both morning and evening swim practices. Please note that evening practices during the regular season are intended for those families that cannot attend the morning sessions and as lanes will be limited, we ask that you please attend the morning practices if you are able.
Regular Season Practice Schedule (June 21st - July 30th) Regularly scheduled practices will commence on Monday, June 21st and will run through the end of the season. Both morning and evening practices schedules will be observed in accordance with the following schedule.
Daily Practice Schedule Practices will be held daily Monday through Friday as follows:
Evening Practice Schedule Practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, utilizing two lanes of the pool. Practice times are as follows:
Practice is an important part of improvement and as the season is short, we respectfully ask that parents try their best to make sure that their children attend practices as scheduled. Practices will be held rain or shine.
